What Fair Work Agency does
Unified labour market enforcement body for Great Britain. Takes over National Minimum Wage enforcement from HMRC, enforces statutory sick pay and holiday pay, oversees employment agency standards, gangmaster licensing, umbrella company compliance, and recovery of unpaid employment tribunal awards.
Additional information
Launches on 7 April 2026 under the Employment Rights Act 2025. Absorbs GLAA functions and the HMRC National Minimum Wage team; separate arrangements continue for Northern Ireland.
