Milestone 3 of 7 Start selling online legally

Meet the quality standards for what you sell

Goods must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described, whether sold online or in a shop.

Everything you sell must be of satisfactory quality, fit for any particular purpose the customer made known to you, and as described. Your terms cannot exclude or restrict those rights. If goods are faulty, the customer can claim a remedy from you, starting with a short-term right to reject them for a full refund.

Consumer rights compliance for traders

Quality standards for goods, services and digital content, and the remedies customers can claim.
