Petroleum storage certificate
Required to store petrol. Local authority (petroleum licensing authority) issues certificate after inspection.
Forecourt safety and emergency procedures
Must maintain emergency shutdown procedures, fire extinguishers, and spill containment. Staff must be trained.
COMAH Regulations (large fuel storage)
Applies to sites storing petrol above lower-tier threshold (2,500 tonnes). Major accident prevention policy and safety report required.

Consumer Rights Act 2015 compliance
Goods must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, and as described. Applies to all retail sales including online.
Weights and Measures Act 1985 compliance

Price Marking Order 2004
