If you are authorised under the UK Internal Market Scheme, goods you bring into Northern Ireland from free circulation in Great Britain are not charged duty, and you send a simplified set of data, called Internal Market Movement Information, instead of a full customs declaration. Without the authorisation, or for goods that are 'at risk', the full customs process applies.
