The General Product Safety Regulations 2005 require consumer products to be safe in normal or reasonably foreseeable use. As a retailer, you must not sell products that you know, or should have known, are unsafe. If you import goods yourself or sell them under your own brand, you take on more of the responsibilities of a manufacturer or importer.
