Step 3: Your right of reply and appeal

You have two separate options if you disagree with your rating or want to respond to it. A right of reply lets you add a statement that appears alongside your rating on the FSA website. An appeal must be lodged within 21 days if you believe the rating was unfair or the inspection process was flawed. These are different processes — a right of reply does not change your rating, while a successful appeal can.
