A supplier's document accompanying CAC material must—
- Include required statements and particulars on your CAC material supplier's document
Health requirements: pre-basic material and pre-basic mother plants
- Ensure pre-basic mother plants and material are free from listed pests
Soil requirements; pre-basic material
- Ensure pre-basic mother plants and material are grown in pest-free soil
Requirements concerning defects likely to impair quality
- Visually inspect pre-basic fruit plant material for defects
Requirements concerning multiplication, renewal and propagation of pre-basic mother plants
- Follow the appropriate protocol when multiplying, renewing or propagating pre-basic mother plants
Propagating material (other than basic mother plants and other than rootstocks not belonging to a variety)
- Know your duties when basic propagating material fails requirements

- Remove non-compliant rootstock from vicinity of basic mother plants
Health requirements: basic mother plant or basic material
- Check and certify basic mother plants are free from harmful pests

- Follow multiplication rules for basic mother plants

- Remove failing certified plants or take remedial action

- Ensure certified mother plants and material are free from regulated pests

- Remove non-compliant pre-basic material from vicinity of other pre-basic stock
Rootstocks not belonging to a variety
- Remove non-compliant pre-basic rootstock from vicinity of other pre-basic material
Verification of trueness to the description of the variety
- Verify propagated fruit plants match their variety description
Maintenance requirements: pre-basic material and pre-basic mother plants
- Maintain pre-basic mother plants and material in insect-proof isolation
Health requirements: candidate pre-basic mother plants and pre-basic mother plants produced by renewal
- Ensure candidate pre-basic mother plants are pest-free
