Management duties 1
Only licence‑holder may manage the short‑term let day‑to‑day
You must ensure that only the person(s) named on the short‑term let licence carry out the daily management of the property. Nobody else can act as the day‑to‑day manager.
Registration and licensing 1
Obtain a short‑term let licence for your accommodation
If you let any property on a short‑term basis from 1 October 2022 you must have a licence under the Civic Government (Scotland) Act 1982. One licence can cover the whole premises, even if you have several units, and you can apply for a licence that covers some or all of those units.
