Ensure pavement licence use won’t block traffic or access
If you’re applying for a pavement licence, you must prove that any furniture or other items you want to put on the sidewalk won’t stop pedestrian or vehicle traffic, or prevent statutory undertakers or network operators from getting to the road. You also need to make sure disabled people can still use the route. If you can’t meet these conditions the licence may be refused.
