Social Care Wales is the workforce regulator for the social care sector in Wales. Certain roles, including social workers, social care managers, residential child care workers, domiciliary care workers (since 2020), and adult care home workers (since October 2022), must be registered with Social Care Wales before they can practise. The rollout of mandatory registration is complete.
