Need help collecting and remitting the levy?

Step 3 of 4

If your council has adopted the levy, you must add it to guest bills as a separate line item. The levy is currently set at 75 pence per night for hostels and campsites, and 1 pound 25 pence per night for other accommodation. You remit collected levy to the WRA on a regular schedule.

You cannot absorb the levy into your room rate — it must be shown separately. Keep records of all levy collected and remitted.
