Energy Performance of Buildings (England and Wales) Regulations 2012
A valid EPC must be commissioned before a building is marketed for sale or let, with the rating shown in advertising. An agent must not market a property without one being commissioned. Scotland: Energy Performance of Buildings (Scotland) Regulations 2008.
