What PRU does
Oversight body within the Cabinet Office scrutinising public-sector compliance with the Procurement Act 2023. Investigates complaints from suppliers and issues guidance and recommendations. Contracting authorities remain subject to court challenge; PRU provides an alternative administrative route.
Scottish procurement regime (Procurement Reform (Scotland) Act 2014) sits outside PRU's remit.
