What District Salmon Fishery Boards does
Statutory boards that protect salmon and sea trout fisheries in their districts under the Salmon and Freshwater Fisheries (Consolidation) (Scotland) Act 2003. Their water bailiffs enforce the Act on the river (ss 45 and 55), alongside bailiffs appointed by the Scottish Ministers.
