  • Exemptions from Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) requirements — Building is a place of worship, temporary (under 2 years), low-energy industrial/agricultural, standalone non-residential under 50m2, or uncompleted construction
  • Exemptions from providing Energy Performance Certificates for new buildings — Places of worship, temporary buildings (≤2 years), low energy industrial/agricultural sites, or stand-alone non-dwellings < 50m²
  • Extended deadline for first air-conditioning inspection (small systems) — Air-conditioning system with an effective rated output of not more than 250 kW
  • New occupiers exempt from Display Energy Certificate for 15 months — In occupation of the building for less than 15 months
