Step 5: Register your workforce with Social Care Wales
Social Care Wales is the workforce regulator for the social care sector in Wales. Certain roles, including social workers, social care managers, and residential child care workers, must be registered with Social Care Wales before they can practise. Registration is being extended to further roles on a phased timetable.
As an employer, you are responsible for ensuring that staff who require registration hold current registration before they begin work in a registered role.
