The Visitor Accommodation (Register and Levy) Etc. (Wales) Act 2025 gives local councils the power to charge a nightly levy on visitors staying in their area. Councils can choose whether to adopt the levy and set their own rate. If your council adopts it, you will be responsible for collecting and remitting the charge.
