1. Do you need SuDS approval?

You need SuDS approval if your construction work has drainage implications and involves:

• construction of 1 or more new dwellings, or
• construction area of 100 square metres or more

Minor works such as extensions under 100 square metres with no new dwelling are typically exempt. Check with your local SAB if you are unsure.
