If you are buying or leasing commercial property in Wales, you pay Land Transaction Tax (LTT) instead of Stamp Duty Land Tax. LTT has its own rate bands and thresholds, administered by the Welsh Revenue Authority. The rates differ from SDLT, so do not assume the same costs apply.
