Common grounds for a proposal

  • Revaluation error: The Assessor made a factual mistake about your property (wrong floor area, incorrect use classification)
  • Material change of circumstances: Something has changed since the valuation date that reduces your property's value (road works, loss of parking, nearby demolition)
  • Comparable evidence: Similar properties in your area have lower rateable values

Deadline reminder

After a revaluation, you have 6 months to submit a proposal. For material changes, you can submit at any time.
