Dual-market access may require two separate representatives:
- UK Responsible Person (UKRP): Required for non-UK manufacturers placing devices on the GB market. Must be UK-established.
- EU Authorised Representative: Required for non-EU/non-NI manufacturers placing devices on the NI market. Must be EU-established.
If you are a UK manufacturer selling into NI, you need an EU Authorised Representative but not a UKRP. If you are an EU manufacturer selling into GB, you need a UKRP but not an EU Authorised Representative.
